The Four were a mercenary gang. The members were Gila, the Cyborg Duchess, Major Angela (also known as the Bearded Lady) and the Mock Turtle.
The Scarlet Empress sent Iris Wildthyme to bring her the Four, believing one of them had the jar containing Cassandra, the first Empress. In exchange she promised to cure the dying Wildthyme. (PROSE: The Scarlet Empress)
