Goddess of Justice and Mercy
The Goddess of Justice and Mercy, (PROSE: So Vile a Sin) more commonly referred to as the Goddess, was a deity worshipped in the Earth Empire by the 30th century. (PROSE: Original Sin)
She was portrayed as a woman wearing a cloth blindfold and carrying a sharp steel sword. The Adjudicators Chris Cwej and Roz Forrester had some belief in the Goddess, occasionally praying to her in times of need and often using her name as an exclamation. (PROSE: So Vile a Sin)
The Temple of the Goddess was located in the Odysseus Crater on Tethys, and was the largest religious building in the solar system. It was considered "the home of the Goddess" and "the heart of the Adjudicators". (PROSE: So Vile a Sin)
