Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]

Page 1[[edit] | [edit source]]

You are inside the TARDIS, moments after it has taken off. You had accidentally wandered into it at the park as it was hidden among the trees, not expecting it would turn out to be so impossibly big on the inside. The Doctor apologises for accidentally taking off with you, and you make small talk with his companion, a woman named Martha. The Doctor offers to take you home immediately, but you want to see how the ship works.

If you ask politely to go on a trip in the TARDIS, go to 44. If you keep quiet and wait to see what happens, go to 98.

Because you do not speak up, Martha does in your defense. She tells the Doctor that he's being mean and encourages him to allow you a trip in the TARDIS. You promise you can be relied on and that you'll do what you're told.

If you remember to say thank you to Martha, go to 69.
If a warning light flashing on the console distracts you, go to 64.

Page 64[[edit] | [edit source]]

You point to the flashing light on the console and ask if that is supposed to happen. The Doctor says the console has a lot of lights, and he rarely knows what they mean. At that moment, a deep throbbing siren starts to sound. The Doctor suddenly knows what is happening - the TARDIS is about to be sucked into a time squall. He says it's like surfing in a hurricane. You are hurdled to the ground...

If you land under Martha, go to 63.
If you land on Martha, go to 85.

The TARDIS stops tossing and turning, and Martha apologises, blushing. The Doctor peers at the two of you, and asks you to look at something. On the TARDIS scanner, the Doctor shows you an image of a space station hanging in orbit around an Earth-like planet. He identifies this as the centre of the time distortion. He looks directly at you and asks if they should investigate?

If you think you should try to materialize directly on the space station, go to 84.
If you think you should go closer and get more readings, go to 62.

Page 85[[edit] | [edit source]]

You apologise, embarrassed, but just as you and Marta manage to stand the TARDIS sends you both to the floor again. The Doctor still cannot control the ship. Finally, he manages to maintain control. Martha asks what has caused that, and the Doctor points to the TARDIS scanner, where you see a space station orbiting a planet.

If the Doctor decides to take some more readings, go to 62.
If the Doctor decides to materialize outside the space station, go to 83.

Page 62[[edit] | [edit source]]

You ask the Doctor if he's sure the TARDIS will be able to land on the space station, since it is the source of the time distortion. The Doctor does some tests and deduces that whatever has caused the problem has paused temporarily. The TARDIS lands and he invites you to lead the way out the TARDIS.

If you decide to lead the way out of the TARDIS, go to 29.
If you prefer to follow behind the Doctor and Martha, go to 95.

The Doctor attempts to land outside the space station, but finds it is surrounded by alarms they would immediately set off. He instead elects to land inside and invites you to lead the way out the TARDIS.

If you decide to lead the way out of the TARDIS, go to 29.
If you prefer to follow behind the Doctor and Martha, go to 95.

The Doctor lands on the space station and begins checks to see if the location is safe. He notes the space station has an oxygen rich atmosphere and gravity like that of 80% of Earth's. Martha comforts you as she knows how it feels to arrive somewhere in the TARDIS for the first time. Martha asks the Doctor to check the scanner and he reports that there is not much outside. He suggests it's safe to head out.

If you go first, go to 29.
If you prefer to follow behind the Doctor and Martha, go to 95.
