Tommy Knight (born 22 January 1993[1]) played Luke Smith in The Sarah Jane Adventures and Doctor Who.

He has presented a behind the scenes video of Journey's End and a CBBC Extra behind the scenes look at the filming of series 2 of SJA.

He briefly reprised his role as Luke Smith for the 2020 webcast, Farewell, Sarah Jane.

He has also appeared on various CBBC programmes in and out of character, most notably Blue Peter and TMi on two occasions.

After his time on SJA, he went on to play Kevin Skelton (later Chalk) in Waterloo Road, as well as Brodie, a recurring servant character in ITV's Victoria.

in an interview for DWM 588, Tommy confirmed he has stepped away from acting to concentrate on a career as a software developer and technical support.
