The Thousand Worlds, although there were a few hundred more, known to the Daleks as "Operation: Thousand Worlds," were a group of planets held within the Null Zone, where the Daleks and Taaleyns enslaved the inhabitants and forced them to drill each planet to its core. They planned to equip all the planets with engines and fire them at Gallifrey at 50 times the speed of light in order to win the Last Great Time War. (AUDIO: The Thousand Worlds)
