Three Mad Sisters
The Three Mad Sisters, (COMIC: Monstrous Beauty [+]Loading...["Monstrous Beauty (comic story)"]) or simply the Mad Sisters, (WC: Incoming Transmission - February Update Video [+]Loading...["Incoming Transmission - February Update Video (webcast)"]) were a group of high-ranking vampires during the Dark Times. According to Friar Grystok, they were "descended from the Great One himself". They appeared to be the figureheads of the coffin ship on which they resided, with Grystok acting as the de facto leader.
When Rose Tyler was taken on board the ship, Grystok prepared her to be inspected by the sisters, as none of them were aware of humans. They found Rose fascinating and attacked her, but when the Ninth Doctor arrived to save Rose, he found the sisters "barely unalive" on the floor, having been overwhelmed by Rose, who had been converted into a vampire.
