Tuross was a servant of Luass. On her instructions, the air car which was to transport the Eighth Doctor, Stacy Townsend and Ssard to Artix's home was sabotaged, allowing Artix to capture all three of them. (COMIC: Descendance) Luass later killed Tuross to frame the Doctor for his murder. (COMIC: Ascendance)
