The absolute majority of the stories with Silents make no mention of their role as confessional priests. In fact, in both their debut outing in Series 6 and in the audio box-set devoted to them as the monster of the box they do not play the role of confessional priests. The general naming maxima is that the page title should be the most common name used. It is certainly not "confessional priest", which would have additionally required the dab term (species) to separate it from human priests, making such a name inferior in all respects.
To completely dissuade all doubts, it should be noted that the audio anthology Silenced does use "Silent" as their designation by UNIT.
