Major Vlaar was a Sontaran under the command of Marshall Stenn. He wanted to destroy the remainder of the fleet of Rutan Host allies. Vlaar didn't like the fact that Sontaran High Command wanted the persuasion machine, as it wasn't usual Sontaran strategy. He traced a weakness in the barrier that surrounded the weapons locker. He found a genetic match between Elizabeth Klein and Kurt Schalk. Vlaar was nine years old when he died, fighting the Krellorans. (AUDIO: Starlight Robbery)
