Goriant was a member of the High Vector's involved in the War Master's trial. He told the Tenth Doctor about the nature of the trial. He cross-examined the Doctor when giving evidence for the trial. He told the Doctor about how Severine came to work for the Vectors and that it was the Master who gave the order to destroy her world.
