Grenades were a form of explosive weapon. They commonly had a pin release or were lit to begin the detonation sequence.
Instances of use
- British Army soldiers used grenades against Robot Yeti when they invaded the London Underground. (DW: The Web of Fear)
- UNIT soldiers used grenades against Cyberman, but they were only partially effective. (DW: The Invasion)
- The Second Doctor dismantled a grenade and used its explosive to blow open General Smythe's safe and get a map of the war zones. (DW: The War Games)
