If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.
This page lists appearances of the Ninth Doctor in the order in which he experienced them. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories. From these observations we have attempted to build a concise timeline. It is assumed that for each novel, comic or television series, their published, broadcast or numbered order is the order they occur in.
Fan sources like the Doctor Who Reference Guide should not be used solely as a source or considered a "true" timeline for stories.
Limiting factors
The Ninth Doctor travels with Rose Tyler in every one of his featured appearances apart from DWAN: What I Did on My Christmas Holidays by Sally Sparrow, leaving little lee-way for stories post-regeneration but before DW: Rose. Also, as DW: Boom Town leads directly into the Doctor and his companions' situations in DW: Bad Wolf, the adventures with Jack Harkness in the BBC New Series Adventures can only possibly be placed between DW: The Doctor Dances and DW: Boom Town.
Series basics
The Ninth Doctor's non-TV stories tie directly into the television series continuity. Hence, he has no adventures with audio or novel-exclusive companions. His era can be roughly be divided into adventures with Rose Tyler in the Doctor Who television series, BBC New Series Adventures novels and DWM comic stories and those with Rose and Captain Jack Harkness on television and in the NSAs.
