::Not quite sure what your question is here, but ''Pyramids of Mars'' isn't in the running at all. Its First edition cover wasn't until 1976, while ''Sea Devils'' came in Octorber 1974. Personally I've never understood the objection to calling the Brig a companion, especially when LIz is typically given that status without too much question. Courtney was a contracted regular. There's no question but tat if titles were being done the same way in Season 7 that they're done now, that Courtney's name would be before the titles. He was in every episode of the season! So if you were to ask me which Target novelization has the first companion on it, I'd absolutely say it's ''Doctor Who and the Auton Invasion''. :::I wasn't so much asking a question as pointing out a contradiction between the two articles. I agree about Lethbridge-Stewart, that part was already in the part I copy-pasted.

Doctor Who and the Sea-Devils

Not quite sure what your question is here, but Pyramids of Mars isn't in the running at all. Its First edition cover wasn't until 1976, while Sea Devils came in Octorber 1974. So if you were to ask me which Target novelization has the first companion on it, I'd absolutely say it's Doctor Who and the Auton Invasion. CzechOut | 07:25, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
I wasn't so much asking a question as pointing out a contradiction between the two articles. I agree about Lethbridge-Stewart, that part was already in the part I copy-pasted.
