Anjli Mohindra plays Rani Chandra in The Sarah Jane Adventures.

Although the character of Rani was fifteen, Mohindra was actually nineteen when she took the role. Rani is the actress' first ongoing TV role after one-off appearances in shows such as Coronation Street. She also appeared in a 2009 episode of Law & Order: UK alongside Freema Agyeman and has a recurring guest role in the adult-oriented series Beaver Falls.

She appeared as a new character in the Big Finish Productions audio drama Brand Management, an episode of the Bernice Summerfield box set Road Trip, in February 2012.[1]
