- 1 - When the Third Doctor was exiled to Earth to protect it from future alien threats, he was restricted from travelling earlier than this date due to his exile by the Time Lord council. - Jack Harkness, who had been buried alive under Cardiff since 27 AD, was recovered by Alice Guppy and the Torchwood Cardiff team when they received a signal from a transmitter hidden on him by John Hart.
