Should TV stories that aired on BBC television before there was a BBC Two actually have their {{{network}}} variable as BBC One? I feel that the "right" entry is "BBC tv", pipe tricked to BBC One. (There's also BBC One being BBC1 from 1964 until 1997, but that's not my priority here) Is that going too far? -- [[User:Tybort|Tybort]] ([[User talk:Tybort|talk page]]) 01:51, March 28, 2012 (UTC)

:LOL. If you want to change ''An Unearthly Child'' through ''Marco Polo'', go for it. Whatcha wanna do with ''Marinus'', though? Say BBC tv/BBC One? {{user:CzechOut/Sig}} 16:20: Wed 28 Mar 2012

Spoilers are strongly policed here.
If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.

-- Tybort (talk page) 01:51, March 28, 2012 (UTC)

LOL. If you want to change An Unearthly Child through Marco Polo, go for it. Whatcha wanna do with Marinus, though? Say BBC tv/BBC One? And, hey, if it bothers you it's easy to change from "BBC One" to "BBC1".

Personally I don't especially care either way for the 1/One distinction. Though I suppose I didn't realise when I first posted that it was just four stories, plus half of Marinus. My goodness, The Daleks and Marco Polo are long. -- Tybort (talk page) 16:33, March 28, 2012 (UTC)
Eh, it was such an easy fix, I just went ahead and do it. Category:Doctor Who (1963) television stories now link to BBC1; Category:Doctor Who (2005) television stories link to BBC One. And BBC tv is now just a redirect, so you don't have to pipe switch.
