Walter Seacombe was a resident of Canvey Island. Walter's girlfriend was Marjory Kennedy. When she had an affair with the new priest, Father Hemmings, and became pregnant with his baby, Walter murdered her.

Walter was able to stay out of prison because his father gave him an alibi. When Peri Brown tried to find information about Marjory, Walter told her what he did. As Peri left him, he was crying. (PROSE: The Canvey Angels)
