The Sunlight Worlds was the collective name given to 400 planets established by the Daleks.
History
The New Dalek Paradigm and the Dalek Time Controller established the Sunlight Worlds following a huge galactic recession. It was governed by the Dalek Foundation. Carthedia, while not one of the 400 worlds, acted as a government state. Rather than give a home to the humans affected by the recession, however, the worlds were actually intended to be transformed into copies of Skaro through the use of the Cradle of the Gods. The Eleventh Doctor managed to set the Cradle to self-destruct, after which the Daleks presumably abandoned the Sunlight Worlds and the Dalek Foundation altogether. (PROSE: The Dalek Generation)
Other Information
- How Nice Is Your Brain? was the highest-rated television show across the Sunlight Worlds.
- The Cradle of the Gods almost turned the worlds into jelly blobs as it fed off the childish mind of Jenibeth Blakely. The Doctor called this "the confectionery death of the Daleks".
