Light's ship is the craft used by the alien Light when traveling round the universe to complete his Catalog. During the events of Ghost Light the ship has landed on Earth and is found Redvers Fenn-Cooper who transported it to England and upon it a Victorian house known as Gabriel Chase was built. Josiah Samuel Smith, another alien occupant of the ship awakes inside it and continues his job as Light's survey of life by taking on the form of a Victorian gentleman. There is another occupant of the ship called Control another alien who is a female. After Light's death, Josiah leaves Earth in the ship and the Doctor has not encountered it again.
