On 1 May, many home media and other media were released. Amongst these releases were:
- 1965 - "The Dimensions of Time" was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1965 - Part six of TV Comic story On the Web Planet was first released.
- 1971 - Episode four of Colony in Space was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1976 - Part seven of TV comic story Treasure Trail was first released.
- 2000 - The BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures novels The Space Age and Grave Matter were first released by the BBC.
- 2002 - Issue three hundred and sixteen of Doctor Who Magazine was taken off the shelves.
- 2003 - Issue three hundred and thirty of Doctor Who Magazine was first published.
- 2006 - Doctor Who: Series 2, Volume 1 was released on Region 2 DVD, containing TV: The Christmas Invasion and New Earth.
- 2008 - Issue sixty-two of Doctor Who Adventures was first released.
- 2008 - BBC Writers' Comics story In-Flight Entertainment was released on the BBC's Doctor Who website.
- 2010 - Flesh and Stone was first broadcast on BBC One. Later, CON: Blinded by the Light aired on BBC Three.
- 2010 - Novella collection Ms Wildthyme and Friends Investigate was first published by Obverse Books.
