- It's not just the Doctor who has spotted something amiss at Adipose Industries, one Donna Noble is also investigating what's going on at the miraculous weight-loss offices. It doesn't take long for the two old friends to meet up and join forces, but can they get to the bottom of the mystery before more lives are lost and Miss Foster is victorious?

- Stephen Regelous offered his time and experience for a few weeks to assist the The Mill with the CGI created Adipose using his software experience to help make each Adipose move independently.
- The Third Doctor's wristwatch could be used to locate the TARDIS.
- In Planet of the Dead the Tritovores were called Sorvin and Praygat and choreographed by Ailsa Berk.
- The stasis chamber seen in 42 was an adaption of the MRI scanner used in Smith and Jones.
- The family name in The Fires of Pompeii (Caecilius) came from a Latin textbook used by Russell T Davies when at school.
