Robert Buchan is originally from Earth. He has recently visited the fifth moon of the Indecisiveness Torrent.
The Viyrans refer to their mothership as the Field Ship Prime.
Robert's ship is Indigo-class, Model Six.
Robert claims to an adventurer, detective and magnet for trouble. However, in reality, he is an investment broker who works for his father Bert Buchan.

Notes

The title is spelled The Lamentation Cipher on the actual release, but Cypher on Big Finish Productions website.
