On 29 October, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1966 - Episode four of The Tenth Planet was first broadcast on BBC1. It was the first episode to feature a regeneration and marked William Hartnell's departure as the First Doctor, while Patrick Troughton took over as the Second Doctor.
- 1966 - Part one of TV Comic story The Galaxy Games was first published.
- 1977 - Part one of Image of the Fendahl was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1977 - Part three of TV Comic story The Devil's Mouth was first published.
- 2006 - Ghost Machine was first broadcast on BBC Three.
- 2007 - Part one of Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane? was first broadcast on CBBC.
- 2008 - Doctor Who: Battles in Time comic story The Battle for Time was first published.
- 2009 - Part one of The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith was first broadcast on CBBC.
- 2009 - Doctor Who Adventures comic story The Ghost Factory was first published.
- 2010 - Evacuation Earth and Return to Earth were first released by Nintendo.
- 2012 - Box set Doctor Who: Series 7, Part 1 was released in the UK on DVD and Blu-ray.
