- 27 March - The BBC Radio 4 series Archive on Four aired the documentary Sculptress of Sound: The Lost Works of Delia Derbyshire.

- 29 March - Doctor Who Classics Vol. 5, a graphic novel collecting more issues of the comic series Doctor Who Classics, was released in North America.
- 31 March - DWM 419 was first published by Panini Comics. This issue included a free code to download AUDIO: Freakshow.
April
- The BBC7 radio series 7th Dimension was scheduled to broadcast several of BBC Audio's audiobook versions of Target Books novelisations, read by Tom Baker. Scheduled to air in April were Doctor Who and the Giant Robot, Doctor Who and the Brain of Morbius, and Doctor Who and the Creature from the Pit.
- 1 April - The Masque of Mandragora was first released on DVD in Region 4.

- 1 April - 3 April - Big screen showings of The Eleventh Hour were held in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Plymouth, and Swansea.
- 2 April - 5 April - The UK Sci Fi Channel broadcast a marathon of classic Doctor Who, beginning with The Ark in Space and ending with Warriors of the Deep.
- 3 April - TV: The Eleventh Hour was first broadcast on BBC One. beginning Series 5, launching the Eleventh Doctor era and introducing Karen Gillan as Amy Pond.
- 3 April - CON: Call Me the Doctor was first broadcast on BBC Three.[3]
- 3 April - Regeneration was broadcast on Network 10 in Australia. The episode was also supposed to be broadcast on the same day on Disney XD in the UK. However, The Korven aired in its place.[4]
- 3 April - The Eleventh Hour received its North American premiere when it was shown during the 2010 WonderCon in San Francisco, two weeks ahead of broadcast.
