Alf was a man living in Victorian London. He told his partner Elsie that the appearance of a Tyrannosaur in the River Thames was part of a government conspiracy. He encountered the Half-Face Man, who complimented Alf on his eyes. The Half-Face Man attacked Alf, taking his eyes and burning the rest of his body as he had done with his other victims.
