Alice was a member of Captain Latimer's household staff in 1892. When she answered the door to Jenny Flint and Madame Vastra, she screamed in terror due to the latter's appearance. Strax's appearance exacerbated this, causing Alice to scream even louder before fainting. She was present for the death of governess Clara Oswald in the last seconds of Christmas Eve that year. When the clocks chimed, she noted that it was then Christmas Day. (TV: The Snowmen)
