:Per [[Tardis:Characters with one name]], which also applies when we have more than one character with the same name, we use the first story in which the character appears as the dab term (the bit in parentheses). ::I understand that, Shambala, but I'm saying that in this particular case the dab term should not be the name of the TV story, as it shares the name of the two characters. Dab terms are meant to disambiguate, but this one does not, and thus should be changed. Title
Does the parenthetical clear things up whatsoever? I understand the naming policies, but it's silly to think that adding "(Captain Jack Harkness)" will clear anything up. I think it should be changed to "Jack Harkness (American Airman)" or something like that. Thoughts? DarthKnah ☎ 01:01, June 1, 2015 (UTC)
- Per Tardis:Characters with one name, which also applies when we have more than one character with the same name, we use the first story in which the character appears as the dab term (the bit in parentheses). In this case, the "Captain Jack Harkness" refers to the story in which this Jack Harkness first appears. Shambala108 ☎ 01:05, June 1, 2015 (UTC)
