Derek Pollitt (1926-11 July 2010) appeared in several Doctor Who stories: as Driver Evans in The Web of Fear, Private Wright in Doctor Who and the Silurians, and A. St. John D. Caldera in Shada. His brother was actor Clyde Pollitt, who appeared in two Doctor Who stories between 1969-1973.
His few other television credits include roles on Z-Cars, Coronation Street and The Onedin Line.
