Valis was the Time Lord commander of the Tempist, a ship that acted as a decoy for the War Doctor to land on Asteroid Theta 12. She tried to escape a Dalek pursuit ship. She discovered a place to hide from the Daleks but really wanted to be in a TARDIS. She found it an honour to serve with Trelon. (AUDIO: A Thing of Guile) She welcome Ollistra back to the Time Lord Time Ship before Ollistra followed the Doctor to the Neverwhen. (AUDIO: The Neverwhen)
