Notable information
- Skonnos was once the home to an empire that extended to 100 star systems before it fell into civil war.
- Romana first displayed her own sonic screwdriver in The Horns of Nimon.
- Roman Groom, a crew member of Bowie Base One, was born in 2034 and was a child genius with a job at NASA by the time he was 17.
- Actor/writer Mark Gatiss played Profesor Lazarus, Gantok and was the voice of Danny Boy. He was born on 17th October 1966.
- The Gunfighters was the first Western ever made for British TV, it was filmed entirely in a London studio.
- Most of A Town Called Mercy was filmed in Spain, on a mock-up Western sites Fort Bravo and Oasys and in the desert region of Almeria, a location used in the movie ‘A Fistful of Dollars' (1964).
