Victor Pemberton wrote several Doctor Who stories, acted as script editor for The Tomb of the Cybermen, novelised several of his own scripts and appeared in a minor acting role as Jules Faure in The Moonbase.
He was in a relationship for many years with actor David Spenser until David's sadly died in 2013.
