The second episode of series 4 of Pointless Celebrities was a special edition of the BBC game show hosted by Alexander Armstrong, which featured Doctor Who actors as contestants.
Contestants
- Team 1: Sylvester McCoy (Seventh Doctor) and Sophie Aldred (Dorothy "Ace" McShane)
- Team 2: Bernard Cribbins (Wilfred Mott) and Jacqueline King (Sylvia Noble)
- Team 3: Nicola Bryant (Peri Brown) and Andrew Hayden-Smith (Jake Simmonds)
- Team 4: Louise Jameson (Leela) and Frazer Hines (Jamie McCrimmon)
Notes
- It was originally broadcast on 23 March 2013, and was repeated on 23 November as part of the show's 50th anniversary celebrations.
- One question concerned facts about Torchwood.
- K-9 Mk III, as voiced by John Leeson, appeared in character.
- Alexander Armstrong, who hosted the special, has also appeared in Doctor Who himself, in its spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures as voice of the main character Mr Smith and in the series proper in the same role in the story The Stolen Earth/Journey's End. He also appeared as Reg Arwell in the 2011 Christmas special, The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe.
