Michael Osborne played Sorak in the Doctor Who television story The Horns of Nimon. He had earlier appeared as an uncredited Citizen of Troy in The Myth Makers (DWM 284) and a Slave Guardian in The Ark. (DWM 228)
Osbourne made his credited debut in an episode of Softly, Softly in 1968, after which he appeared on Dad's Army, Crossroads, The Six Wives of Henry VIII, Oh, Father!, Crown Court, Secret Army and Bergerac. However, he is best known for playing PC Newton on Dixon of Dock Green and Mr Howard on Grange Hill.
