Christopher Eccleston appeared in the ITV documentary Best Ever Muppet Moments. David Tennant is a fan of the Muppets, scheduling with Doctor Who forced him to avoid appearing on the ITV documentary. Jon Pertwee was also a huge fan of the Muppets.

Doctor Who Script Editor and writer Douglas Adams worked with Jim Henson Productions, which created the Muppets.
