Jack Woolgar (15 September 1913-14 July 1978)[1] played Staff Sergeant Arnold in the Doctor Who television story The Web of Fear. He also voiced the Great Intelligence in the same story, uncredited. (DWM 235)

Woolgar was most active in the 1960s and 1970s appearing in television shows such as The Avengers, Crossroads, The Wednesday Play, The Saint, Z-Cars, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Dixon of Dock Green, Paul Temple, Coronation Street, Armchair Theatre, Emmerdale, Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads?, The Sweeney, Last of the Summer Wine and The Onedin Line.
