Jeremy Young (born 1934[1]) appeared in two Doctor Who television stories: as Kal in An Unearthly Child and Gordon Lowery in Mission to the Unknown.
From 1961 to 1976, he was married to Kate O'Mara, who played the Rani in the later seasons of the original series of Doctor Who. He has the distinction of being the first actor to portray a villain in Doctor Who, and coincidentally, was wed to another person who played a prominent villain on the show.
His numerous other television appearances include roles in The Avengers, Adam Adamant Lives!, The Saint, Department S, Z-Cars, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Doomwatch, Up Pompeii!, Dixon of Dock Green, The Sweeney, The New Avengers and Space: 1999. He also had regular roles as Neville Crane in Deadline Midnight, Athos in The Three Musketeers and The Further Adventures of the Musketeers and Count de Ricordeau in The Tripods.
