Mem-Brain fought against the Monaxi along with Sunzberro, Unta, Tony and Effrid Blunk for a long time, but he was captured by the Monaxi. Later, he was released from the Monaxi Circus. He could not remember his real name. (COMIC: Medicine Man)
After Iktra activated a time bridge, Mr Ebonite erased memories of everyone. Since Mem-Brain's memory had already been broken, the effect on him was the opposite: his memories began coming back. He found Jack Harkness, Cindy Wu, Cleo, Erik Ulfriksson, Muthmunna and Sunzberro and went looking for answers about what happened to them. (COMIC: Arena of Fear)
