Erik Ulfriksson
Erik Ulfriksson was a 21st century human.

He was an archaeologist and a High Priest of the Cult of the Black Pyramid, which believed that the Osirans were gods. (COMIC: Spiral Staircase)
He and Hanif sent Cleo to retrieve an artefact (COMIC: The Fountains of Forever) that they thought would let them communicate with their gods and earn ascension as a reward. When Cleo, Erik and Hanif were taken by the Seeker to an Osiran mothership, the Shining Horizon, they realised that their deities were just powerful aliens and met the last one of them, Anubis. Erik, feeling betrayed, attacked Anubis. The Seeker killed Hanif in retaliation. After the Tenth Doctor convinced Anubis to wait instead of risking to destroy the whole universe, the Doctor returned Cleo, Cindy Wu and Erik to Earth in his TARDIS. (COMIC: Sins of the Father)
Immediately after their return, Erik helped Jack Harkness save Cindy and Cleo from Mr Ebonite by distracting him. Jack had given him sufficient protection to survive the otherwise deadly blast he provoked Mr Ebonite to deliver. (COMIC: Cindy, Cleo and the Magic Sketchbook)
