Faction Paradox fused weapons with their shadows to create shadow-weapons. Shadow-weapons were advantageous because they always remained with their owners and they were easy to conceal.

Theoretically, any object could become a shadow-weapon, including bombs, (AUDIO: The Eleven Day Empire) torches, (PROSE: The Story of the Peace) or maracas. (PROSE: Judy's War)

During negotiations with the British government in 1752, a Faction Paradox ambassador performed a "shadow dance" with his shadow-weapons. (COMIC: Bêtes Noires & Dark Horses)

When the Seventy Ninth Sontaran Assault Corps invaded the Eleven-Day Empire, they considered shadow-weapons to be "utterly ridiculous" and "clearly in breach of [the Sontaran] code of honour". (AUDIO: The Eleven Day Empire)
