Alalal was the king of the Surobans. When he found the Tenth Doctor and the crew of the Seamancer on his world, he ordered their execution. However, the Doctor convinced him to give them time to find the TARDIS so they could depart. When Kook informed Alalal that Jalkis had disobeyed his orders not to help the aliens, he again ordered their execution, but was stopped when the Doctor returned. Alalal was convinced to let Martha Jones treat Jalkis' injuries, and to treat him as a hero instead of a traitor. (COMIC: Shipwreck!)
