Battlefield was a VHS adapted version of the TV story of the same name. It was still released in a four-part format with extra material from cut scenes in part three and four. When the story was released on DVD a special edition was released with the original edition. Then it was in a movie format, with even more extra material.

- This is the first adapted version of a television story. This would later be done with many more in DVD format starting with The Curse of Fenric in 2003.
