Hal was a servant of Lord Edward of Wessex and his wife, Lady Eleanor. When Sarah Jane Smith spiked Irongron's food to make his men fall asleep, Hal took their weapons; second. He killed Linx by shooting an arrow into his probic vent so Linx could not escape. He later returned to his masters to help defend Wessex Castle. (TV: The Time Warrior)
