The Shining Men projections of the Lost's fears. They began manifesting around October 2017, but people believed them to be just a hoax.
Noah and his friend Dylan skipped a class to go looking for the Shining Men. When Sammy, his mother, came home from work, his nan told her about him getting out of school and seeing the Shining Men, which made Sammy really angry.
Later that day, a Shining Man came to Sammy's house and kidnapped her. Noah saw his mother's neck wrapped around the Shining Man and then she and the man jumped down a large hole. He, afterwards, told this to his sister Maisy, the Twelfth Doctor and Bill. (PROSE: The Shining Man)
