Alan Tilvern played Forester in the Doctor Who story Planet of Giants.

Tilvern enjoyed a long career in television, appearing in episodes of Interpol Calling, Danger Man, The Plane Makers, No Hiding Place, The Saint, Z-Cars, Out of the Unknown, UFO, The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, Dad's Army, Dixon of Dock Green and The Sweeney. His best known film role is that of R.K. Maroon in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
