Emma Freud is a script editor with a long association with, and is married to, screenwriter Richard Curtis. As a result of this, she is credited as a senior script editor on the Doctor Who story Vincent and the Doctor, which was written by Curtis.
She also contributed to the charity reference book Behind the Sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who.
In 2017, she organised the "Breakfast of Doctors" auction event with the money going to Comic Relief. She then live tweeted the event of the day itself with several Doctors and the lucky winners.
