George Pravda appeared in several Doctor Who stories: as Alexander Denes in The Enemy of the World, Professor Jaeger in The Mutants and Castellan Spandrell in The Deadly Assassin.

Appearing in over one hundred forty productions from 1946-1986, Pravda is best known for his appearance in the James Bond film Thunderball. His television credits included roles on The Avengers, Ghost Squad, No Hiding Place, The Saint, The Baron, Emergency – Ward 10, Softly, Softly, The Prisoner, Department S, Doomwatch, Callan, Paul Temple, Public Eye, Special Branch, Moonbase 3, Colditz, Softly, Softly: Taskforce, Second Verdict, I, Claudius, Crown Court and The Onedin Line.
