• A CBBC literature statement confirmed both the Slitheen and Blathereen would appear in the series.
• In an interview with Nikki Wilson for SFX she confirmed the Blathereen as appearing in these episode. A series preview by Digital Spy also confirmed the Blathereen as appearing in the Finale
• The Blathereen and Slitheen both appeared in the NSA: The Monsters Inside
• This episode marks the return of the Slitheen in the Sarah Jane Adventures they previously appeared in SJA: Revenge of the Slitheen, The Lost Boy, From Raxacoricofallapatorius With Love
• The Blathereen are supposedly Orange compared to their Green cousins.

Myths

• Its not been confirmed its just assumed that the Judoon will appear in this episode since they appeared in the first story if this did happen it would be the same as the previous series how they had the Slitheen in the Series 1 then the Sontaran in Series 2 making it probable they will return. Since the Slitheen and Blathereen are criminals the Judoon could try and arrest them.
• Sarah Jane may die in this episode. This is potentially foreshadowed by Androvax's comments at the end of Prisoner of the Judoon, and a series finale would be an apt way to end this. But this is a show on CBBC so this is highly unlikely and would attract lots of complaints. Also Sarah Jane Smith is a very famous Doctor Who character.
