Terence Alexander (11 March 1923-28 May 2009[1]) played Lord Ravensworth in the Doctor Who television story The Mark of the Rani.

Alexander's other television credits included The Avengers, The Baron, Man in a Suitcase, The Champions, Paul Temple and The New Avengers. However, he is probably best known for playing Charlie Hungerford in Bergerac from 1981-91 and Lloyd in the 1973 film The Day of the Jackal. He also had regular roles as Co-pilot Bill Dodds in children's series Garry Halliday and Montague "Monty" Dartie in nine episodes of The Forsyte Saga.
