Ian Fairbairn (17 September 1931-2 December 2014[1]) had several roles in Doctor Who.
Fairbairn, besides his appearances in Doctor Who, is most famous for playing Alpha 4 and Dr Frazer on the television series Timeslip. His other television appearances included roles on Emergency – Ward 10, Sergeant Cork, Softly, Softly, Z-Cars, Paul Temple, Van der Valk, Churchill's People, Dial M for Murder, The Onedin Line, The Cedar Tree and Last of the Summer Wine.
