Mike Jones (1943-2013[1]) provided the studio sound on the Doctor Who television story The Pirate Planet. He was a sound technician on many of the 1970s' most famous TV, including Monty Python's Flying Circus, Fawlty Towers, Till Death Us Do Part and The Onedin Line.
